My crappy Edelbrock heads seem to be doing OK.
As Brent said, talk is cheap. In fact, it's free.

Nope, I've always used Edelbrocks. His heads are pretty new as far as that goes though.

The Pond heads are replicas of the SK-35369 medium risers, but apparently Robert has made some changes to improve flow and strength. I trust Brent's judgement, and he tells me we should be able to get somewhat better flow through these. Plus, they are a bit different. Honestly, I'm sure I'd be happy with the Edelbrocks or the Blue Thunders. These all strike me as great products.

Brent, you know what would make an interesting article for submission to Hot Rod, Kit Car Illustrated or any Ford-specific magazine? A face-off between the FE aluminum head offerings from Pond, Edelbrock and BT.
Kinda like the intake comparison that Jay Brown did over at the FE Forum. Also, gets your name in some national magazines.

I've got 5 FE builds going right now, one of which is going to be in Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine. Gary Bowmans Windsor is going in there too. With all of the FE stuff, I should have some pretty good data going on.

Include the Survival heads by Barry. Although they are not an 'all-out' head. His design was for an all-around, 'high average' power production.
Guess nobody cares for Dove's anymore??

I don't.
Sounds like a premise for a good article. Time for you money bag guys to ante up now. You fund it, I'll build it.

I may pony up for a 427 SOHC build, someday in the future, but then that won't really help Brent's future FE aluminum Wedge head comparo article, since the Edelbrock, BT and Pond heads would be of the "crappy low performance" variety.

Sorry I'm out because Brent didn't name the Little Lykin-ette after me.
Besides I had Shelby heads...

For the same token, you didn't name any of your kids after me. Sounds like a stalemate.

I'm in, 482 FE, whatever heads make the most power i'll use Hydraulic roller as well, more of a street strip motor that just rips with hp and tq to match, 600 in both catagories sounds like a good number

Ok, new custom Diamond pistons are ordered...along with a set of Total Seal rings. Anthony, if you're reading, I ordered your pistons and rings as well. Diamond Racing got rich off of me today....ordered 4 sets of slugs.
