I'm not a real fan of the bare aluminum cars, but the brushed stripes on the polished body are wickedly awesome. It's just not OCD compatible (as are not black cars). I think this car should move quickly at this price. I'd be tempted myself if I had a space (but then I'd quickly get it painted guardsman blue, but that's my preference).

The polish is actually as easy as windex and a paper towel to clean. But finger prints do show up VERY well on them...

Just wondering, are you talking about the San Fernando Valley in Hollywood/Los Angeles...?

Are you sure this one is aluminum? In this lighting, it looks like it could be cooper or bronze.

Beautiful iteration - but why is the Cobra medallion on the trunk off-center? Or are the stripes off-center?

I saw that too but maybe it could be several things. Camera angle and shadow. Or the badge is centered and stripes not. Or badge and stripes centered and cobra in middle of badge throwing everything off.
I was wondering does the bare aluminum ever get sealed with some sort of clear coat?

I do believe the badge on the trunk is off-centered. I took the photos and if you look closely I'm lined up with the middle of the stripes nearly perfectly. The distances between each stripe and the corners of the trunk look identical too.
And no, there is no seal or clear coat that goes over the aluminum. Just polish. Over time it will start to oxidize but it can be re-polished again and look as good as new!
