glad to see you found this thread.
there are also several women drivers in Austalia... Mrs. Flatchatt or something like that, and a couple of others. Always nice to see them post. I don't know what happened to cobragirl5. also... there is 65LA that hangs around. Lissa, i think.
go cobra girls, go!! lol

I was also thinking about you when I replied to the thread.
My deep thought is that it does not matter whether we are girls or boys but plainly humans sharing the same love: the Cobra!! The car, like a plane does not know the sex of the Pilot!!!

I definately have a Master's in Cobra buidling now!! It's been 8 long years and I am finally close to getting this completed. I have to tackle the interior and registration. I did some different things but I am really happy with the way the car looks. I am surprised how opinionated car GUYS are... Having the Ford body with the Vette Engine and Frame...Oh If I have to hear "How could you do that" one more time. Or the color choice... the guy next to my shop kept saying "Why Barney Purple?" But then once he saw the color...I kid you not, he repainted his car.... PURPLE! From the start I didn't care about what people thought I should do, I built the car I always wanted. Now I hope that after all of this, I actually enjoy driving it.

Learning is a long process, trials and errors are frequent and the same problems occured for everyone who started with a partially finished kit car.
Paperwork is the worst part of it.
Color is very personnalike ("racing stripes or no stripe??). When I changed my color
(classic Viking blue with white stripes) to a shining metalflakes sparkling saphire blue with holographic Abalone stripes, some observers were amazed but got used to it although they feel sorry not to see again the classical look of my car.
But color is reversible on a car, providing some money investment, it is not definitive. The owner must love it, it is the only important point.

I hope to go to Spa in 2011, I wanted to go the previous years but there was always another schedule event that did not allowed me to get there. This is a great circuit but I think it rains often there ("Spa water"....).

There are lots of trackdays at Spa, and it's not far from Paris... So you could do it in spring 2010
