The list is growing nicely...hopefully others needing some of this will chime in (and update it, accordingly.)

Which gets to the age old struggle of wants vs needs. Example: I really want an extra AC logo'd center cap to have on hand in the event that I lose one and find myself needing it. But since I don't really need it at the moment, I'm not going to PM vanoochka for one of the two he is offering up. It would just move from his tool cabinet to mine...not much benefit.

Just please keep this in mind when you see something that catches your eye. Otherwise, the hoarding mentality that is in most of us will short sheet the one enthusiast out there that might actually need it more.

Too funny!! I thought the same thing when I saw Vanhoochka's (Chuck's) post about the center caps. Don't need...but I might need someday. As you said Dean, no need to just be moving stuff between garages if it's not going to be used.

Count us in! I'll start digging around tomorrow. I have a feeling we have a lot of parts we can throw into the pot.

David, That was a VERY interesting email. I would bet that you might have a few more bits than the rest of us have.

Dang, if you round up all the engine parts for an FE, you could have near complete engine.

Dean, wake up!

Gosh, David. Even your throw-aways are going to create a stampede!

I just hope that everyone stays true to the cause. Thanks for offering up some bits for those that truly need them!

Is there any way these parts could come together to assemble a Cobra that could be raffled off or auctioned off for some kind of cherity????????
i like the pay it foward concept and i think it will work well once we get the hang of it...
but i would think there is a cherity out there that could benefit from OUR generosity.

Anyone have an old dingy SOHC engine lurking around in the back of their garage? I'd be happy to take that off your hands.

I'm going to search the garage this weekend and see what I can find.

Vanoochka - I'll take the shift lever if it's still available (sent you a PM). I'll post something in return after I take another look through my stuff.

Thanks!

OK, here's something for a really special person. Almost complete 390FE engine bored out to 428 cu in. Gouge in one cylinder where wrist pin lost its retainer and moved a little. All ya gotta do is pick it up and haul it away. If you aren't able to sleeve block cheaply, the block would make a great planter. Bay Area location. Rich
