Default Super Performance VS Backdraft

Of these two companies, what is the general opinion as to which one makes the best vehicle? It seems that the SPF cars cost more than the BDP. What is the reason for this.....better quality or just paying more due to the association with Shelby?

Use the search function. There is a lot of discussion on this topic and comparisons between other manufacturers as well.

I will say that the additional price has little to nothing to do with Carroll Shelby's affiliation with the company.

Just don't ask about the difference between one or two rollbars or else Patrickt will crash the thread.

Forget those two. Get a Factory Five for the stronger chassis.

An excellent question....but rather incomplete.

It should read:
"BDR or SPF, Big Block or Small block, FE or 385, one roll bar or two..”

Actually, Backdraft is clearly superior to Superformance. No question about it.

A politician you will never make. What happened to all those sensitivity classes you were attending. I thought maybe you got got your 1-month sticker.

Good advice for the OP. Buy Backdraft because it's American-made and better crap.

Backdraft made in America? When did they relocate their factory from South Africa?

Just a few months ago. They're now 100% made just outside of Newark.

I take it that your car is now safely stored in its "sleeping bag." Man, it's going to be long winter.

Not yet. I'm hoping to get a few more weeks before I put her to bed for the winter.
