Default Need some advice here-placing painted body

Hello All,

In paitently waiting for my car to be completed with the paint work. So far, my painter has been doing a very very good job, Frank from Classic Illusions. I highly recommend him.

Option(1)
Any way, I am trying to decide if I should have the body brought back home and have 9- 10 of my friends help with placing the body on the chassis. I am hoping this will happen Nov. 21 and I can enjoy the build over the long weekend. I am alittle worried that some one will scratch the body when placing it down on the chassis. This has not happen in the past but you know blip happens.

Option (2)

Frank has offered to place the body down on the chassis. However, he said this will add some time to the process and might not make the Nov. 21 time frame and I would not be able to begin assembly until who knows when

Know I am alittle worried about leaving the chassis with motor because I am running Webers. My carbs are tune very very good and worried someone might touch something and casue me adjustment problems later. With Webers if you look at them wrong you will have to readjust them again.

I trust Frank but accidents happen, or other customers happen.

Your thoughts

I'd bring it home as soon as it was done and put the body on over the long weekend. Why wait longer than you have to for your car when you could have it at your place where you know it's safe and you could be working on it.

It only took five of us to put the painted body on mine, without any mishaps!

9 or 10 friends sounds like fun but that might be a few to many horses in the pen, so to speek. 5 total should be enough. 1 on each corner/fender and 1 (you) to guide everything.
