Shelby and Sebring

Found these pic of CS piloting an Aston Martin DBR1 at the 1958 12 Hours of Sebring. He and Salvadori retired on lap 62 and didn't finish the race. Now if he had a Cobra.......

In '59 he and Salvadori won LeMans with the same car......

I haven't seen any mention of it here on CC, but I think a lot of users here would be fascinated by this site: Tam's Old Race Car Site. I know I've spent a lot of hours poring over pix there.
