Which looks meaner?
Going to do an under hood mural. Which one do you think would look meaner?

I personally would do more of a ghost image under there. Make some wonder if there is actually an image and startle others when they see it.

Neither. The car is mean enough without it. But, it's your car.

I'd do a smaller, ghost image.
Just my 2 cents though.

I like them both. Maybe the first image a little bit more then the second.

Try this one
Why not do the old 'Can of nuts' trick and put a spring loaded coiled snake on top of the air cleaner. Either way I'd probably drop the hood.

Personally, I would make it body color. If you feel strongly about having an under-hood mural, then I would make it a ghost image. Just my two cents (which is worth about .9 cents).

I agree. I think any mural looks kind of cheesy.

I like all options - however, probably the first of your pics.
That is - If your car is Blue, then shades of blue for your snake outline with red shaded eyes to stand out! I think that would look mean, real mean. Certainly, would scare the pants off me!
Cheers,
Anth

I am starting to like the idea of a ghost snake..keep in mind that these are very cartoonish looking, but it will look much better when done on the hood. These are just so i have an idea of what they will look like..this is the guy that is doing it..check out some of the ones he has done for the Vette guys....

If I were to see the underside of my hood while driving, it would scare more than the pants off of me.
Chalk me up for "none of the above." IMVHO, this kind of body art just doesn't enhance a Cobra.

If you have stripes, I would have the stripes on the inside of hood, it looks very nice that way, but then again just what I like.

Like some of the others, I personally would not go for the under hood mural ... but to answer the question ... In my opinion, I think the blue snake & red eyes looks pretty cool ... or make it more of a ghost image as suggested.
The brown snake is technically closer to a 'real' or 'original' Cobra (oh no ... not that again ... just kidding ) it does not have as much impact as the body color snake.
Like the guys said, it's your car, so knock yourself out !
