That might be Ernie's (Excaliber on this forum) old Excalibur Cobra which I believe he sold, bought back and resold again a few years ago .
It won't be his red ERA as he just recently moved to the mainland and brought it with him. Ernie?

We had a rental car on Maui (I think - all the islands in eight days gets confusing...) and drove past a rental place for Harley's. An orange Cobra was parked out front with a big FOR RENT sign on it. We would have had to leave the kids to play on the motorcycles, though...

Definitely not Ernie's - his is in Ron 61's garage at the moment.
I don't really know who has what on the Big Island, but it could very well
have been a rental.

Flip, I referred to his ex-cobra, the old Excalibur. It believe it was red and I think it's still in Hawaii.

Aloha Buzz,
Ernie sold the Excalibur back to Mitch (who he bought it from in the first place)
and Mitch relocated to northern California and took the Ex with him, so I know
it wasn't that one.

Ah so.
PS - I hope your weather over in the Pacific is as beautiful as ours has been over the last few days. It's a nice time of year in the islands. Mostly sunny days and breezy, cooler nights.

As usual - low to mid 80's, trades, with passing clouds.

Apparently the usual here as well, light snow melting in the morning, cold as hell. I really really miss that Hawaii weather...
Yup, Excal in Calif and my ERA resting peacfully in Ron's garage. I'm in the final planning stages for building my garage here in Oregon at my new place.

We got significant (stayed around on the tops of cars etc.) snow here in the Central Valley last night. First time at least since my youngest two were born (10 years) and the first I recollect in nearly 20 years. Huh.

Bet it was Kai?
He has a black CSX8000 series car with 427w and I beleive a Midstates "Red" 427 car. If it was him, chase him down next time as he and his wife are great people and honest Cobra hobbiests.

Both Kei's Cobra's are black, so that rules him out.
There have been "reports" of various Cobras on the Big Island over the years. Sometimes you figure out who it was/is, other times you never hear of the car again. It's considerably bigger over there than Oahu.
Cobra's in Hawaii used to be exceedingly rare, but since the registration law was changed a few years ago the numbers have "exploded". From 5 or 6 to maybe 12 or 15 now.

I remember once when I was working down in the Silicone Valley area it started to snow and they let the kids out of school so they could see it. Seemed strange to me as living up here I see a lot of it on the hills and mountains during normal Winters, which we haven't had in several years. Sacramento got the rain and snow that we were supposed to have today and it is just clear, windy, and cold as all get out here. I had kind of forgotten about all the years that I lived in the Santa Barbara and Fresno areas.

Gunner,
were you on a Tiger Cruise recently? From Pearl Harbor HI to San Diego CA.
What a small world if you were.
