Using Superlite Caliper

Hey All,

Quick question.

I am using Superlite Wilwood Calipers and was bleeding my brakes using the pressure system. This is a pump that I pump pressure through the brake canisters and open the bleed screws to release the air. I disconnected the brake pedal (using 2 master cylinders).

With the Superlites I get very slow fluid when released.

The rear with the dynalites are more responsonsive.

All the aire is out and the brakes feel fine. However this is just making me think why this is happening.

I have also tried with the pumping of the pedal but the superlites still flow the fluid very slow.

I disconnected the system to see if there is a blockage and everything systems fine.

Your thoughts?

I have them too and what you describe is true for me. Just be patient, bleed the inners first and the outers last and they are fine. I always get a rock solid pedal.

Could it be that the orifices on the bleed screws are much smaller on the Superlights?

careful with the pressure pump, you develop a leak at the master cylinder reservoir and it makes a big mess. been there, done that.

Thanks for the heads up on that , it happen to me too already.

I only pressurize it to 15-18 psi.
