Default VIN TAG Placement

I know there are some common places that people have placed their VIN tag or the STATE requires a specific place.

I would like to hear where you guys have placed you VIN TAG i.e. Firewall or ontop of foot box.

Also, I have 2 Tags and wouldlike to place one on the body and one on the chassis.

ERA has a couple basic tags on the frame & I put the VIN tag on the passenger footbox.

ERA puts a riveted plate with just the chassis number on the top of the front crossmember and rivets the general maker plate to the top of the driver's footwell.

Massachusetts placed their metal-foil VIN plate under the dash lip on mine. CHP let it serve (instead of installing their own on the frame) because the body is not separable from the frame on a completed ERA.

Somewhere easy to see on the firewall for the body, front crossmember for the chassis tag.
