I'll second that timing light. Flaming River fr-1001. I use it with my MSD 6A and all is good. I like the fact that it does not have the pistol handle like the traditional lights. I can get it into a tight spot ( like my 351w timing mark on the pass. side under the alt.)  you can also press a button and just use it as a flashlight.
