Shelby American Factory pics

Today I took a drive by the old Shelby American factory building and took a couple photos. Prior to Shelby Lance Reventlow used the site to build his Scarabs. Anyway. Princeton Drive in Venice had to be an interesting street in the sixties. Sure a small building and it's for lease.

'James Bond' didn't even mention the history of Reventlow and Shelby there. That would seem to be a marketing mistake! It would make a nice condo in LA....

At one time, there was a rumor going around that the building was going to be torn down. At least we made it by there before that could happen!!!
