No issues at all,I absolutely love my ERA's (I've now owned 3 of them). I am just permanently afflicted with "The grass is always greener" syndrome. Actually, I'm looking for something I can set up as a nice driver, but also set up for road racing (again).I could modify my current ERA to do it, but would be afraid of blowing up the current drivetrain, something I cannot afford to replace. I've watched the Hurricane since it's inception, now with it under new ownership, I'm back to wanting one that I can build up just the way I want it. Can't wait to see the body and chassis changes and hear about the rest of it..........

Congratulations. A Hurricane was in my plans for when I retired this winter - until they went under and I couldn't be sure they would surface again. I had to go elsewhere as a result. But, I remained very impressed by the car, design, how complete the kit was, and pricing. If they maintain this they will have a great product. Good luck.

Dean, welcome back to the Hurricane family! Are you going to do another speed build? Sure hope you do a build thread.
Love the idea of faux Lucas electronics on the firewall and floor mounted pedals.
Very happy HMS is in such good and capable hands.
Matt

All this is a great story about a Company that is being re-born by folks with the ability and will to do it right.
These days, with all the bad stuff out there, it's nice to see that an American Company is on the move to further their own success.
Can't wait to see those new Hurricane's roll off the the line and watch the new owners build them.
Merry Christmas Everyone. Bill

From one "Dean" to another, congrats on the decision. I look forward to watching this build, as I've yet to see a car built by Lampe that isn't done right and with the best of parts and attention to details.

Thanks for all the comments. I have a CAD drawing of the frame if someone can help me post it. It doesn't have the IRS but you can get the idea.
I am going to start the build thread soon. The engine is going to be the best engine I have ever had and probably the most powerful. Thats all I'm going to say about that except that this baby isn't going to rust! The car has some amazing upgrades from the standard kit that you guys are going to love. They are all standard upgrades that are available for purchase, just not in the base kit. (just to be clear)
This car has the potential to be "the one". Of course I have said that about all of them.

I can't count the number of times I've said that. In fact, before I was even finished with my Hurricane, I was taking it for a shake down, "go cart" run and the thought crossed my mind "What am I going to build next?". Well, I have my new project in the shop and I'm already thinking about what to do when I'm done with it. We are a sick, sick group.

Hyde, I never received permission to post the 3D CAD drawing from the owners. Sorry guys. I will try to include it in the build thread.

Dean,
As you know I'm planning to do another Cobra so be interested in your build thread etc. Are they only doing the 427 version or FIA289 also? What kind of price point is this new car going to be compared to Superformance and some of the rest?
