Default Smiths Cobra Gauges Light Project: Update

To all interested parties:
I have the directions package 90% complete for the upgraded lighting for the original style Smiths Gauges. I have fellow enthusiast who has had no involvement with the project, currently acquiring the needed parts for the lighting upgrade. This way he has had no additional input from me as to how to do it.
He will receive my actual instruction sheet in a few days when I add a few more photo references. I want to be sure that he can follow the directions and successfully update his lighting before I make it available to anyone else. FYI: It just so happened that he was updating his dash when we spoke and he had all his gauges easily accessible.
So, quoting Herbert Rappaport… “Timing is Everything” …he’ll be the first to test the upgrade procedure for all the Smiths gauges. Regarding this coincidence, I really prefer the quote from Clint Eastwood…”…are you feeling lucky…?”
I see everything being in place in January for a general release to the public, making it a great winter project.
Happy Holidays.

Actually, I just found an even brighter bulb combination. 2 sets of them are on their way to my house as we speak. Also determined that there is a 3rd version of the tachometer out there and got its upgrade covered too...all the upgrade info is out to my 5 test gauge contributers for testing of the procedure. And I'm awaiting the results and or some comments on the directions. Feel free to contact me offline with any questions...Use "DASH LIGHTS" in the email subject line if you do contact me...
