Kit identification
Can some one help identify this body and frame. I have an MSO that says FiberFab. I am the third owner of these parts.

This came up in a Google search, http://www.fiberfab.us/
There was also some listings that had Fiberfab and CMC in the same info.
Is Fiberfab and CMC the same place?

48ford.....if you have the MSO and it says Fiberfab as the manufacturer then you have a Fiberfab........and the next question would be........are you starting a build on that Fiberfab????????

What is it?
Looks just like my CMC........Fiberfab, CMC, Street-Beast.....all the same.
Hope you have most of the pieces and have good fabrication skills.
Good Luck.

I think I have most of the pieces, just not sure how they will fit. I have seats, seat tracks, carpet, roll bar, all badges and lights, etc... All are from Shelby though.
The only thing I have not found is the wiper linkage and the hood and trunk hinges.
What Fabrication work are you talking about?
I will take photos of the body today.

I think you'll be surprised how many things won't quite fit. I do have the build manual ( says Fiber-Fab on the cover) if you need some specific information. Do a search here for "CMC" and "Street Beast". Then do a Google search for the same.
I think most of the dislike for our product is from the lack of customer service and not so much the product itself.
It's not a KIT...Its a bunch of parts that you engineer into a car that you can drive.

fsiewert....i think most of the "original" kit cars where that way........
you really had to be a fab. man to put one together........there where a lot
of guys that thought they could do it and as it turned out they just didnt
have the time or knowledge to take on a project that required so much.
it is nice to see that someone has taken on some of the "older" unfinished
cars and have been able to bring them to life.

I have put a couple of them (CMC) together. People from FF went to CMC, to sheriff sale, to Street B. It probably is the greatest truth ever told- that the companies are the problem, not the car.
it would be worth a check with SB for hinges. I could send pics of some I have for a car. Do you have a manual?
I think they are easy and because the first body was color gel coated, it had a very reasonable fit
Very generic Must suspension.. I put in BB and have had a lot of fun over the years .
Have fun.

The chassis has to be a CMC. Its the same as Fiber-Fab and I have the build books for both and they are exactly the same. I love mine but have a complaint that the door hinges can't open very far which makes it hard to get to anything under the dash. My kit was originally sold in 1992.

Thanks you guys. I looked through some more boxes and found a fiberFab assembly manual.
Cobraleonard in you're opinion is the manual ok to follow?
UncleDenny did you hang the doors you're self?
I have been doing the build in my head so far for the most part. I'm getting real close to starting full time. Full time for me will be 1/2 days as I am retired.
Thanks Guys
