Anyone running after market driving lights?
Anyone running after market driving lights on the front of their Cobra? Please post a picture or two if you are. I'm looking for mounting ideas and approaches. Thank you.

Tim,
I'd like to add some driving lights to my car at some point. I know that Steve (Panavia) installed some lights on his SPF and made some brackets.
Someone posted these lights on the SCOF forum. Pretty cool, since they appear black when they're off.

Look forward to seeing responses about the best way to mount them.

Kens Custum Auto Body in Yuba City made the flat stap bracket for them to mount on. They shimmyed before he anchored the plate.......

I have had had 3 variants on mine - the first was the rectangle hellas - simulating the Cibies from gumball rally -
then -- lucas LR8s like on the GT500s
then I had a vision and put a set of 670/680 5.75 inch Marchal Fog Lights.
it is sooo sexy now.

Hi,
These lamps were fitted to a Cobra at the Le Mans Classic in 2008, which includes night racing.
I think they look pretty good and very purposeful.

The headlights look like they have a shot of whisky sitting in the bottom.
Does that help the beam pattern?

Panavia, I realy like your setup.
Are the brackets attached to the Nudge bar, Frame, or the Fiberglass ???

Ron, you always have a camera nearby so why no pictures of the new lights?

Keep in mind that driving lights are illegal in California. Fog lamps are not..........

Ron, -- love the marchals --! they can be found on ebay with little difficulty.
the 911 vintage guys also use em so I think they are more plentiful than some other choices.
We welded little 1/8" thick steel tabs about the size of a match-box on the back of the hoop, for them to bolt to.
