Its a white q-ball shifter like I saw on the first 289 cobra I ever laid eyes on about 25 or so years ago!
I have yet to install it but it looks good!

I guess now I have to get my wife another gift

My wife calls my cobra my "mistress". I do spend a fair amount of time under her..... So many things I could add to that, but I'll just leave it at that before my post gets deleted by the mods.

Its funny, my wife calls mine "Shelby" not the way you and I say Shelby - but Shhheeeeeelby, kind of like you would say Barbie. She calls it The Shelby, or Shelby but it always has a human femal touch to it.

Nice shifter knob by the way.

The other woman, or more to the car's true color, "the red head". My wife is a blue-eyed blonde, so it works.

JB, not sure what you paid for that Shelby monogramed white ball, but I bought the same plain Jane variety (Hurst) through Summit for about $25. Matches the stripes and looks cool.

My girlfriend calls it my "other girlfriend" ... makes sense, I seem to be under her a lot and checking the dipstick

My son calls it "the loud blue car", which he intends as a term of endearment. (He's 3)

Out of purely academic interest, I will note that Vixen and Virago also begin with V.

I love cue-ball shifters. I put one (2" black, with the correct pattern) on mine for daily driving. The original goes back for show.

I brought my cobra home the day the wife moved out and she sworn that I have substituted her for the car, especially since she heard me refer to it as my baby. She said I should try SCREWING it and see it will respond warmly in bed.. She don't realize that she was cold in bed for years.....
Later...Dex...

I have the same cue ball shifter on my Shelby short throw shifter in my GT500. Nice feel to it.
