Default 2004 Ford Cobra Roadster Concept car - for sale.....

Well it looks like someone from Riga thinks they will get away with it!!!

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/de...l?id=126672902

I hope the link works......

Firstly, I don´t think this concept car nailed it trying to create the modern day Cobra Roadster. The Mustang, Ford GT and the GR-1 are right on the money, but this is not. Additionally, unless they have got the ok from Ford, and have got comprehensive data and dimensions, it will probably be further from the mark than the actual show car was.

- 350.000,00 Euros
- 2 per year
- 350 - 1000 HP

lloyds1,

Thanks, worked great. This car looks like the one that made the rounds to some car magazines a few years ago.

I believe that you are right. I have seen some pictures of it somewhere and remember thinking no way would California allow a person to register that car.

I like it just as a car--the design is pure conjecture anyway (no way to know what a modern Cobra would look like). I don't think it's worth the asking price, but maybe that's just because i can't afford it! I do have a 1/18 scale model of the car that I bought at a Ford dealer about a year ago. It looks pretty good, too.

I have seen this car on an HD TV special that tracked it from concept, to Clay, to Fibreglass, to installing the V-10 & 6 speed drive line, to SEMA and ending with Shelby driving it on the track.

Was to be the concept of the new age Cobra but ended up being a one off design exercise.

Sounded really good when it was running on the track, the question for any buyer is if it could be street legal where the new (Deep Pockets) owner lived.

Looks kind of like CS's "series 1" car that had the Olds engine.

I liked it very much when it first came out...now? eh.....not so much. Has that kind of retro T Bird feel to it, half thought out.

This was the Project Daisy car.....

I remember watching the TV show on this car. What I remember about it, even when driving it around, was there was no air filter or room to install one under the hood. No problem for a show car or garage queen.
