It is a unique rivet pattern, one that I could get used to.
I'm surprised Patrick hasn't jumped in and admired the dual roll bars.

I saw this one at LCS last year and really liked the tool storage. Dunno who the owner is but I hope he doesn't mind me posting pictures.

I was going to lose the fuel cap on the fender and have two smooth fenders. Am having a change of heart....still contemplating, but will probably lose the fuel cap on the tank. The fender unit is just "too Cobra" to give it up.
Should get that done sometime this year.

That looks great and it seems like the tool pouch is held in place by snaps. Sure makes it easy to put your tools back and notice if somethings missing.

I'm sorry about the quality, but here are a couple of pictures of the boot (trunk) on my old Contemporary.
We made up the aluminium panels to replicate the original S/C style and also made up a fake lower mounting point for the roll-bar rear brace. The roll-bar brace actually went straight through the fake mounting to the rear chassis leg.

I have some quick questions (serious!) for those that have posted actual pics.
How is the upper leading edge of each panel mounted/braced to the body?
Is there a bracket bonded to the 'glass that you pop rivet to?
What's a good but relatively inexpensive metal brake to purchase if I wanted to try my hand at this?
Thanks,
-Dean

If you're interested, we've still got some "SC" aluminum trunk panel kits that might fit a Contemporary.

Shoot me an e-mail at era cars @ sbc global dot net (without spaces) and I'll put together a dimensioned drawing and a quote for all the pieces.

Great to see ERA helping out (selling components and parts) to other brand owners.
