Hey Dean,

Cobra Restorers has one at the following link. Just click in windshield and Cobra and search:

Does anybody have close up pics on how these mount? I've been thinking of putting one on also, but would like to see close up details. Any help would be great. Is it possible to go between the racing windscreen and the regular windscreen? What type of holes are left showing?

The CR one is here http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....7a~Z5Z5Z500112 and there is another style with a curved aluminum band for the bottom. If you like it and it fits you just shoot some holes throught the body for it. I have made some windsheild post blank caps to cover your post holes. I'll try and find a pic.

I prefer the aluminum lower section to the full plexi style. I sounds like ERA is the only choice. The Kirkhams had talked about it. Did they ever make one?

Hey Dean
I have the same one that John (Doubleugly) has on the carbon car except mine is brushed aluminum instead of black. I think it's exactly what you want as it's a copy of the one used on CSX3002. Send me a PM and I'll set you up with one if you're interested.

Lisa isn't a big fan of the Cobra. It always sounds great but it is never that much fun for her so I am just giving up and building the car the way I want it. Anyone is free to ride, just don't open your mouth at night in the passenger seat!

Dean,

I don't know if you remember me from Run and Gun this past year (b/c I was only there for two days), but I had the silver "6" cobra. I got my windscreen from ERA and am really impressed with it. I would call Peter and asked him about it if indeed you are using it for a Cobra.

I have a racing windscreen from ERA2041, which came with the car, and was removed by the first owner. I have no plans to use it, and am open to a reasonable offer. fazio214@aol.com

There is a photo in Beki Adam's "Cobra" book showing an original car with both windscreens in place if you are interested. Guess it just depends where you mount the small plexiglass windscreen, just o it clears the original windscreen. With the costs and history of issues of the original windscreen glass cracking, taking it on and off the car sounds risky.
