I have my dream car
I brought my dream car for my 50th birthay 11 years ago after seeing a Cobra at the Geelong speed trials many years ago when I saw one go down the 1/4 mile and said to myselfe "I've got to get me one of those" .
Cheers,
Bryan

I agree with Bryan. I'm driving my dream car.
In my case I got to drive an original back when I was 16, which was in 1968. I only had to wait until I was 56 to see my dream come true.

One of those million dollar Kirkhams would be great. However I would be afraid to drive it.
Other than that I would love to own a vintage racer, a real vintage racer. Maybe #26?
I also love a 65 Chevelle, brings me back to my youth with short track roundy rounds. Everybody damn near ran one.

I built and own my two dream cars:
65 AC Cobra, built in 1993
69 SS Chevelle body off restored in 1983 (currently long term stored away)
Have owned a lot of different muscle cars over the years. My first love has always been Harley Davidson motorcycles, now own two hot rodded sleeper Road Kings both ground up built to support the highly increased hp and tq.

An original works D-type Jaguar. The most beautiful yet functional car ever made.

cobrarob, we're doing this in reverse. I presently have the SPF but desire a Ford GT.
Truthfully, I always wanted a Cobra. But besides the Ford GT, a Lamborghini Countach (sans rear wing) has always been on my wish list.
So I've achieved part of "the dream" and I'm very content with the hand I've been dealt.

I love my SPF and would like to build a twin turbo GT40, but if I had to pick one car it would be the Mclaren F1.

... a Ferrari Daytona Spyder... then I could have my own Gumball Rally in my very own garage.
I guess I could always shoot for one of those "Corvari's" a Daytona replica on a vette chassis. I'd have two copies of two great originals.

I saw a special last night on TV covering a NY Museum of Art exhibit on the exotic race car collection of R. Lauren. There were 12 or so cars there (no Shelbys though) any of which I'd be happy to own. Seriously, although I like the leaf spring street cobras, I'm more than happy with my early CCX S/C. Amazing car.

I love my CCX, but my dream car has always been a 1969 Lamborghini Muira. I got to ride in one in Italy in the late '60s. A beautiful, fast car....way ahead of it's time.

First place: Cobra. And I like the one I have. A lot.
But second place: 1957-8 Ferrari 250 Testarossa.
I'd even take a replica of one, if anyone knows where to find one! Man, that is sex on wheels!
