Novel Idea from Govt Motors?
I know the sound a Cobra makes is one of the highlights of ownership, but a buddy trying to sell me a Vette showed me something that might be a nice fit for someone's Cobra. Some Vettes have an adjustable baffle in their exhaust that is closed until 3,000 RPM. They also make a manual switch to allow you to open or close a baffle in your exhaust header to ease the noise a little as needed. What do you think? Expensive glitz or practical idea? I haven't looked to see if anyone makes them as an after market item. Please excuse if I offend any purists....
