I do have to throw in that anyone who considers an expensive toy (Cobra, boat, vacation home, whatever) on finances that have to be juggled around daily and family necessities needs to take a hard look at the last five years of this country's economy.

Nothing contributed to the epidemic of individual woes more than those who convinced themselves that income and asset value would always, magically, exceed expenses, no matter how inflated.

If you can't pay spare and available cash for a Cobra, you probably shouldn't buy one. But it's a free country...

its not economics that is the litmus test for a cobra purchase. it's priorities. i personally would prioritize the cobra over a fence, AC, or new roof any day.
shotgun and a rope is a substitute for the fence, going naked instead of AC. and buckets are cheap.

If three questions can cause 7 pages of bickering...

You guys need to find another hobby, obviously having a Cobra just isn't enough...

My wife just mentioned certain home improvements that will need to be addressed in the next 5 years. As a joke I told her I would put up for a vote. I must admit some of this has been rather funny...

NO my house isn't falling down, neither is the fence. The AC might be a little sad, but then I was considering becoming a nudist anyway

I can afford the car or I wouldn't be looking at one. I must admit though I look at younger women and can't afford them either. If I did I would end up with no house and half a business. On the bright side I would have a Cobra to sleep in.

I don't use the boat much anymore the Harley turn me into Dr Jackal and Mr hide. And if I sell them I can cash out the Cobra, guess I have to make the final decision...

There i said my peace your can resume your normal dialog

Rick

Well I'm glad Gunner took my bait.

You gotta love that Patrick. Right after seeing the Proctologist (Dean), he immediately makes another appointment for another colonoscopy.

Jaysus guys...it wasn't as if this was a serious thread to start with. WTF happened to a bit of humor?

That being said...Paddy, no sense pouring gas on the sumb!tch once it ignites, eh?

Y'all ought to take a few days off from each other's company.
