lawrence I took one picture of the top of your seat showing how the corner is hitting the roll cage, because of this the seat is sitting at a slight angle, I don't Know if you remmeber or not but when we tried to put your seat in my car not only was it to wide but to tall all of those have been solved with the new frame but now it is the outside corner that is hitting, I didn't want to cut the corner of your seat untill you saw it yourself so let me Know what you think if you can see this in the pictures or not.

Can't really tell enough from the pics to decide. After I get it I can figure out whether it will be better to cut and recontour the edge of the seat or just bend it a little. Just part of the tweaking and massaging that I'll have to do to get everything like I want it.
I'm just surprised that you're now able to get the seat in without cutting the top like we discussed.

Just realized that was Ron that chimed in a while ago. Good job on it. You'll have to give me a guided tour of the new features when I come out to pick it up.

Thanks,

Lawrence that seat fits with so much more headroom then we had before that it's not even funny, that seat is just so much bigger then my fiberglass seat that i have in my car that is why it hits on the corner, but like you said you will need to look at it for yourself.

Lawrence just wanted to confirm that you are going to bring tires and wheels when you come out to get the coupe?

Sounds good, Bryan. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. In the meantime I'll be finishing up on getting my engine/transmission package ready.

How's the car coming Bryan? Got any new pics?
I haven't been bugging you because I know how hard lexan is to get right. But if it doesn't lay down right it usually jumps out at you when you put it on the car. Please double check the fit. I helped a friend do a rear hatch on his Shell Valley coupe and it can be a bear.
Think we're getting close on the delivery date?

I'd like to see your mold when I come out to pick the car up. We built a new rear hatch frame for the Shell Valley and tried to mold the lexan over it but pulling the lexan down would distort the frame. It would take building a permanent mold to pull the lexan down smoothly. Be interesting to see what you've come up with.
Thanks,
Lawrence

that is what i have done we built a rear window frame i then cover that with a thin sheet of steel, made a frame work for the back side then fiberglass the entire thing so that it would hold the presure when they pulled the vacum, so we will see what happen thur when we run them again.
