I would have been there had the riot not happened. We were heading up on Sunday morning (we lived fairly close in southeast Kansas), but we heard about the riot on the radio Saturday night. My dad decided we'd pass on that race. Bummer.

Very nice, it seems like just yesterday. I noticed the "Honda Scrambler" 250cc or 305cc, had one of those then, but no cobra, my wife said "we got babies, no cobra for you".
