How do people post photos. Everytime I try, I get a message that my photo is too big, even when I use an off site. What is the max size for posting?

I started using my old camera again that was at 2 pixels. You can reset the picture size with Explorer by right clicking on the picture and selecting resize picture. It will copy the picture but have a (small) behind the file name.

There are two was to locally post a picture:

You can "Attach" the image to your post...there the file size is limited to less than 40k... preferred to be a .JPG at 640x480 with compression.

or...you can upload the picture to your Gallery (click on the Camera icon under your profile name). In that case, the picture really does not need to be larger than 1 meg in size, and 800x600 or 1024x768 is suggested. Large picture files (larger than ~2meg) will be rejected by the Gallery.

That should never happen.

If your picture is hosted elsewhere, just copy the URL of the picture and place it in your post as you compose it, using the Image tool , in the Tool set above the typing area.

Smile

I copy / paste a picture onto an email to myself. It resizes and I save it to a folder. I upload from that folder.
