Doug,
Hope your son is doing well. I have a friend who just recently finished up with her Chemo. She had Breast cancer and everything is getting better now, but it was touch and go for a while.
Car looks outstanding. I love both styles but the 427 just seems to fit my personality. Go overkill, then go a little farther.

Doug,
The car looks stunning. I can't wait to come by and check it out in person (always better with black).

Looks awesome & I'm a auto body man/painter. It's hard to get fiberglass straight and black shows EVERYTHING !
I would highly,......recommend using clear film for 3M, Invicashield (spelling) ?
or the like, under the nose, rockers and behind the rear wheels for protection, on that beautiful black cobra !

That's gonna look super sick. Going black or chrome on the jacks, bar, and sides?
Oh, and what paint did they use?

Roll bar is chrome, quickjacks are black, and side pipes are flat black. I thought about chrome quickjacks, but haven't got around to seriously looking into it. Thought of ceramic silver on the pipes, but I like them flat black so they don't stand out so much.
Not sure what paint they used. Contact Ken at www.streetrodpainter.com

Excellent! Looked at their site and seems first rate and the place to go, now if they were just 350 miles closer. First thing first for me is to get some demons banished then I'll have to contact them in regards to a repaint but mine also has some glass issues that weren't initially addressed when shot. Reckon I better mention that when I talk to them. Thanks double D

427 Wheel on FIA

www.vintagewheelsus.com is the Vintage Wheels web site. Highly recommend them.

What did you do machining wise to get them to fit your ERA 289FIA?
Thanks

ERA supplied the necessary drawings to set the proper backspacing. I think the drawings are available on their website www.erareplicas.com, or you can contact Bob at ERA.
More progress on putting it all back together. Reinstalled my oil cooler screen, taillights, and the tonneau cover snaps. Doesn't sound like much, but that was about two hours of tinkering.
