Yep, Dwight. I'm all ready to go and chomping at the bit. I've got to get the engine testing finished, get it off of the test stand and mated to the transmission so I can test fit it in the car when I get it here. Are you guys laying bets on how long it's going to take me to finish it? With Mike retired and you retirng after this job?, you guys can keep me moving on it.

That hatch looks particularly good, Bryan. Dwight is our main fabricating expert and he's the guy that spent a ton of hours helping the owner make a lexan hatch for his Shell Valley coupe. He can appreciate how hard it is to get it right. That vacuum mold idea of yours is probably the key. How did you heat the whole thing at one time to get the vacuum mold to pull it down evenly? If you've got the mold inhouse, we'd like to see it when we come out to pick up my car.

Continuing to look great, Bryan.
To tell you the truth I wasn't sure if you were going to put a prop rod or the gas shocks on it. You're doing it up so I won't have much of an excuse not to finish it in a short time.
BTW, How are the seats coming?
Thanks,

Bryan has done all the work. You and Coach can drop the motor/trannie and drive it to the London Cobra Show
You know how fast Coach builds one. He needs a project and he does have a lot of experience in building Coupes.

Dwight;
I'm not brave enough to try to take a month old car to London.
If you'll go ahead and retire, you and Coach can help me and we'll aim for LCS 2011.
As you remember it took him a year to build his Shell Valley Coupe. And even though I'll be getting a much more complete car from Bryan, I don't think we can make it road worthy in a month.

Looks like it's ready for pickup to me, Bryan.
Tomorrow I'll give you a call to confirm Saturday pickup date. Looks like the lousy weather that ya'll have had lately is due for a break next weekend. More tornado weather is about the only thing that would keep me from picking it up.

Looks REAL good, Bryan. I was concerned about the left shoulder area but it looks like you shaped the crossbar in that area so that I'd have enough clearance. I thnk we're in great shape there.
You guys OK with the weather out there? Looks like ya'll had some bad stuff come through your area today. We'll be taking off tomorrow morning and unless the weather gets real bad we should be able to make Joplin tomorrow evening. I'll give you a call tomorrow evening to confirm that we'll be at your place about 9:00 Sat morning.
