Cobra racing up narrow, twisted mountain road
In March I took part in a Classic Car Rally and took some videos of several sections. A friend of mine put this video together with some dramatic music.
Have a look at it here.
In some places the top speed was 100mph, average speed was around 54 mph.
The road was closed for the occasion and I did not have any notes as to which corners came when and where. Just went fast but safe
The tight corners were taken by pointing to the inside of them, hitting the gas just to slide the rear around, catch the steering wheel spinning back at the right moment and gas it again out of the corner. Fun but hard on the differential, which broke 3 teeth off the ring gear

Nicely done... driving, noise, scenery, everything. Looked like a lot of fun.

Eljaro, that is one of the coolest things that I've ever seen. But one question though. How did you ever fit in that little car with such big balls

That has to be one of the BEST rides I have had in a Cobra in a long time. How red were your brakes when you finished??
Thanks for the RIDE!

Great to see someone that actually puts music to a clip and you can still hear the engine nicely, good stuff I thought before I viewed it here goes another BS w**k car music clip with little or no engine noise.
It would be great to have a road like that nearby so we could exercise our engines with giving them a bit of load, especially when I get this baby going in the car as my engine has only been on the dyno.
Nice driving, I wouldnt like to get out of shape on that road with the rocks and edge not far away!

OMFG !!!!
When I take my car to the track for some spirited fun, I choose track areas that have nice big soft runoffs to push my car to the limit. Yikes !!!!
I almost had a heart attack just watching that video! You've got balls the size of a bull elephant!!! GREAT video. Thanks for sharing!

Nice!
Really awsome ride!
Those rock sides would really scare me, to say nothing of the drop off.
I love Spain, the landscape, the people, and the food! Now I need to go back.
Hope you had some race tires on for some grip, and not just ordinary street tires.
Thanks for sharing.

Avon CR66 radials front and back.Fantastic grip for an everyday tire. I can recomend these Avons 110% to any cobra owner wanting the best tire. Nothing I have had before comes close to these.

Well, if that doesn't sell a few Avons, I don't know what will.
Thank you.
