The cup holder is for water,i don't drink coffee when i drive. If i want a coffee,i'll stop at starbuck, get off get my coffee, sit down and watch all the people drewling over my car, that's the ultimate pleasure with my coffee.
I have to put it on the road first which is not too far.

I know, technically it's a glass, not a cup. But I still like it better than the previous cup holders.

That would work for cold drinks but what about hot drinks?

I don't drink coffee, or any hot drinks for that matter, so I'm fine.

I could give up hot drinks for a cup holder like that,... actually maybe a cup holder like that would heat the drinks up!

I was wondering why anyone would put a cup holder in their Cobra, and then realized that these people drink Starbucks. Stop by a Peets sometime and you will learn to drink a good cup of coffee outdoors, with a good view, preferably. Like at my Cupertino Peets, with a nice view of Mount Monte Bello. But in the words of that formally funny comic, "...but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." Rich
