Cup holders question /
Hi guys,what cupholders are you using to clear the tranny and where are they coming from,any car model suggestions,thanks

I open my door insert cup and use a bungee cord to proper tension..
J/K No cup holder here I can't hold it for 100 miles... |

Here is a pic of mine. I bought two bell adjustable cup holders from Kragens auto, then bolted them together with two aluminum straps. I bought stick on velcro and stuck the side that sticks to carpet under the aluminum then stuck it to the carpet. Works great. One of the other guys used a black piece of plastic so it blended in better. Scott |

When I add roll-up windows, take out the Top Loader and install an automatic, wire in a cruise control unit, and then add an air conditioning unit, I'll probably do the cup holder thing too. I may even swap out the side-oiler and transplant the 4-banger out of my Toyota Yaris to help tame this whole high testosterone thing. :eek:

I'm using Santana Interior billet cup holders. mount them on the side of the transmission tunnel. pop in and out.

One of my most favorite things to do is brew a fresh pot of coffee early in the morning. I fill my large mug with it. Then I go outside on a nice crisp Sunday morning when the temps are around 68. I
open the garage and start up the Cobra. Then I place that big mug in my homemade cup holder. I drive out to my favorite road behind the White Tank Mountains called Sun Valley parkway. It's just desolate with no traffic. The wind swirling around and you can smell the desert air. Then comes the best part. I can reach over and grab my mug of fresh brew and take a drink. Man it doesn't get any better than this. I haven't been able to do that for awhile and I miss it. To some of you it may be putting S**t on a cracker but to me it's a simple pleasure I get driving the Cobra and drinking a fresh brew. That cupholder comes out when not in use so that it does not offend you hard corps Cobrafiles. I don't see what's so funny about my George Foreman grill in the trunk either. :D |
Well, at least you gave up the donuts.
Not really sh!t on a cracker...more like a fart in church. It may feel good to the one doing it, but the folks around him (her?) might have a different opinion about it. :p |

I think that Fred & Barney might spill their coffee trying to get up to speed.:LOL: Mike, Get something that you can velcro in and remove it when you don't need it. Most stores like K-mart or Wallmart have something that will work. If you are looking for something more permanent it really depends on how much room you have between your tunnel and transmission. Only you will know how much room that is. |

I love my donuts. When I was working the squad car we always stopped at the local Dunkin' Donuts for a few old fashions and a brew. We called the place Sub Station No#2. :3DSMILE: If I ever find out who told you that was me that farted in church ....Boy you can't trust anybody these days. In all honesty it would be sad if I could not have that simple pleasure of driving my Cobra without a cup o' joe. Life is too short not have a special time like that in your life. Get that cup holder and use it. It beats the hell out of getting scolded n*ts. Hersh:) |
