1965 Badges

Back when I first started to get my Cobra together, I got a couple of things from an old school friend who worked at Ford. I got black Shelby pins ( currently on my car ) and two Cobra emblems. The emblems are the round red, white and blue one with the cobra snake and the word COBRA in the middle.

On the back is the Ford oval and the beginning of a standard PN.

All I can read is C5RA -

The rest is too weak to read.

Anyone want to tell me if these are 1965 Cobra badges from one of the dealer units?

The round badges have been repro'd over all these years.

Today, they are a licensed Ford repop... most all have carried the C3RA part number, regardless of when they were made.
