That's the way to do it.... i.e., remove and reinstall everything yourself. I'd also strip the paint surface surface area with Dawn (plain original blue) dishwashing detergent.
Here’s what I’m covering with the clear bra….. entire front of car up to the front hood opening.. then right over the front fenders. My goal on the front fender is to cover the entire front flair out. I’ll cover the door seal, door edges, from of the rear fenders, trailing areas of each wheel opening and the front lip/edge of the hood air scoop. I'll have the thicker material put on the headlights.
I’ve done three other cars…. The best thing about the clear bra beyond the protection it offers is the ability to remove and replace. My wife once clipped the garage door side/casings and caused the usual white scuff/scratches and paint on the front bumper of one of our cars…. Remove the clear bra… noting on the original paint. Replaced the clear bra and it’s like new again.
Good luck to all who do this…. You won’t regret it.
