That same exact thing in value is going on today.....if only we knew which one or ones and had a good 33 years left!
I bought a worn out "Funny Car" in 1970 for $800 from a Texas oil brat in Tyler, Texas and later sold it for $1,000 to go finish grad school.
1965 Ford Fairlane (small body, rear wheels moved up about a foot and yes, had "the" SOHC motor). I can't barley look at the pictures now without crying.
