Hurricane engine bay comparison
I wanted to post some pictures of the new hurricane's engine bay vs the first generation engine bay. I like the look of both but the new car really looks vintage. I think all the subtle changes they made make a big difference.

Looks great!
I noticed that the brake/clutch reservoir cans have coated lids in the first gen and not in the second gen. They also have the Girling labels in the second gen.
What did the originals have? Coated lids or not? Girling labels (of which there are 2 types) or not? If labels, were they on all the cans or just the center can?
Anyone know?

Those are great questions. I was just happy to get the cans anyway I could. I seem to remember the lids being black on the originals but I can't swear to that. As for the stickers, I really don't know.

The pics I have seen have black cans, lids and no labels, but i haven't seen a ton of pics and have no idea if they are true to how they were delivered or not. Some of the restorers seem to have been less than accurate on stuff like this.
