Newbie picking a kit. Good/Bad/Awful

Street Beasts - be aware. This company has been sold a few times. Many threads on major problems in the past. I hate to lay the past on the present owner, but they purchased it.

I tried to get ahold of them yesterday. Nothing but recordings. They don't even offer up any pricing on their site. Only to call them and then there's no answer,,,,Hmmm.

The B&B thing. There are definitely 2 different sides to this story. One says an employee tried a hostile take over and was fired. You don't know what or who to believe. Best to make your own inquiries and go with who you trust. I'm sort of glad I'm not ready to buy my kit, as I only have it narrowed down to about a gazillion manufacturers with only 2 being ruled out.

That seems to be the biggest problem with Street Beasts, technical support and access to parts. The car itself, as I understand it, isn't all that bad, IF you can actually complete one with available parts. Good luck with that!
