Well, Excuse Me! Sorry, the car I looked at wasn't well put together and I was told it was a Backdraft. If it wasn't, I don't know. I didn't look any further at that point. I'm positive there are beautiful and bad examples of all of them. An example of a bad CSX would be the CSX7076 fiasco.
The point is that if you take a Kirkham, Superformance and CSX (and probably others), and outfit them similarly, the prices will be similar as well. I know I can make a Kirkham more expensive than a CSX as I priced them. I made the decision to spend the extra dollars for a car that fit and worked in the climate where I live. Everyone has their reasons for making their choices. I also know that some, perhaps many, would never buy a Shelby even if they were of superior quality AND priced at the bottom of the rung. Whatever.

Apology accepted and I still like Shelby
And I do agree with you, there are bad examples in all of them; I have seen a few myself...
Cheers and good night

Piling on? I think I got a stinger, pulled a hammie, blew out my ACL and received a concussion all on this thread.
BTW, no CCTV for my garage to view my Cobra. You know how new parents put their newborns in their bedroom inside a bassinet next to their bed? I sleep right next to my Cobra in the bedroom.
Chas, I thought we were on the same side (Patrickt's Haters Club)?

Doug,
Good point ... I really like the bare 427 Kirkhams, they look good in their raw form.
On the other hand, I have only seen a few of the 289 Kirkhams in bare aluminum, and to me they just look better painted.
The one real advantage is not having to pick a color, but then there is the brushed or polished, stripes or no stripes.
Any way you slice it with these cars, there are a lot of decisions involved, which is a big part of the fun !

You only do that with your first. After that you put them on the other side of the house. And WTF is this "Patrickt Haters Club"?!?

Do you know if they bought all the tooling for the

Take it easy. It was a play on, if you can remember this far back, The Little Rascals: Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat, etc. You know, the "He-Man Woman Haters Club."

Ahhh, yes, the old Hal Roach stuff. No, I'm much too young to remember it, although I recall ERA Chas mentioning that he actually played the big red-headed kid that was always mean to the other kids.

O Dude-we most definitely are! And we know that club's full title is the "PatrickT, and Dual Roll Bar-Hater's Club". We are equal opportunity haters.

Patrick, it can't be that they hate you, it must be that they hate your avatar!
I was looking at it, thinking there is something strangely familiar about it, then it dawned on me....how can one not look at your avatar and see the spitting image of Groucho Marx? It's just eerie!!!!!
Cheers from Dugly !

I took them off last year in the hopes Chas would be nicer and then he yelled at me to put them back on.

Well how about that $10,000 price increase on CSX's?
Only about 5 weeks until the price increase takes effect. Buy them now while they're cheap!

Patrick, I'm fairly sure no one cares about the multiple holes in your Cobra's body.

Oh the humanity!!! I'm sure that all family members are now forbidden to ride in car unless they wear a helmet.

Well that's interesting. Do you spec it that way? Do you have any other Kirkham parts?
