Supposedly from Tony Stewart's car - for cockpit airflow. He had me at 5 bucks each. They are inline fans. The pictures make scale difficult - they are 10 1/4" long with 3" inlet / outlet.

Looks good... are they production units or some kind of custom pieces?

I looked for any markings on them and couldn't find any. Looks like the markings had been ground off of both.

Here is the back half of the body in the mold. It will be a few weeks before it is popped out. Remember, the car is going to have a flip front. We were talking tonight about a few features of the front - scoop, etc. The front will probably not have a scoop molded into it so guys can not have a scoop, if they wish.

The flares for the rear will be attached and blended in after this. We're still thinking about how we want the flares to look - hard edge or a smoother transition. Probably the latter as discussed previously.

Starting to play with wheel / tire combos to get an idea of fitment. These stick out on the slabside but looks like it will come together well with the comp flares added. Driver side is a 255/60-15. Passenger side is a 700-15 Blue Streak. Bruce is going to try some larger sizes as well. Ignore the live axle there, this is an IRS car.

Bruce test fitting slabside front end on FIA rear section. My slabside rear section is in the background.

Dragonsnake top on my slab / comp rear. It fits. My car will have a Lemans top.

With the top and without the front clip it makes a cool looking ratrod!

We just had Cruisin' the Coast down here in South Mississippi... what a fantastic meet. So many awesome cars from all walks... hard to choose a favorite... 'cept for the Cobras! Lookin' good Jmi.
