Default Lets see your meatballs

Hey I'd love to see the placement of your meatballs and advice on installation. Particularly on the hood where a cut would have to be made. Not sure cutting the vinyl would look good and stay in place.

I see some guys get the smaller diameter to avoid this issue.

I didn't split the hood meatball but I'm sure it could be done with some patience.

I give up, I can't decide where to put the side meatball, ON the door or in front of the door?

I've done both. My hood meatball is the same as TButtrick's, no split needed.

I cut a section out of the front meatball so that the 'line' of the meatball did not get altered - so far I haven't had any issue with the two parts staying in place...

lamaluv that looks great. After making the cut did you fold the vinyl down or did you stay above the edge?

I don't know if the Static Meatballs would do well when cut. If you go with Decals & they are applied properly, you shouldn't have any problems.

The meatball on my hood are rolled over slightly. They are rolled over about half the width of the hood.

Lama - are they static cling? Just want to be sure we are talking about the same product.

The meatballs on my car are not static cling. My experiance with static cling on my Mustang is that splitting it at the hood seams as on the Cobra won't stay on well.

Got the meatballs. I layed them on the car to see how they will look. I have one concern. My car is indigo blue with white stripes. When i put the number on the hood you can clearly see the blue stripe through the white circle. It looks a bit cheap. I may just put them on the side, not sure yet.

Anyone else have the same concern?
