Cobra Cruising in Savannah, GA

We arrived in Savannah today on our way to Florida and the weather is great. Much nicer than the low 30's and high of 50 we saw coming south from CT. We will be staying here through Saturday the 14th. We want to take the Cobra out of the trailer and see some of the sights. Do any locals have suggestions? Are there any local Cobra owners that would like to meet up?

I was just there for the HSR Speed Classic races over on Hutchinson Island several weeks ago ( a friend is the manager for one of the race teams ) . It`s a 2.1 mile track located on the island behind the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort . You go over the bridge leaving Savannah and take the Hutchinson Island exit . You can drive the track as it is actually streets etc. when the race isn`t being run .... you can probably still see some of the rubber laid down . Some neat scenery as it borders a golf course and is ( obviously ) on an island . I`m sure a local can give you better directions than I just did . The race is run CCW instead of CW .... I think it will be worth the short trip.
BTW .... I got to rid in a BMW M1 Factory car driven by a factory driver for 4 laps ..... WOW ! He claimed he had the wrong gearbox and we could only hit 135 mph at 8500 rpm ..... maybe he was right as the M3 blew by us on the back straight .
