Just the fact that there is a thread on the subject says a lot.

I have to admit I feel bad. As soon as I hit "post" to create this thread I was like, I probably should not have done that. I was reading the Roush thread and towards the end of the thread some post had nothing o do with the original problem.
Before this thread gets out of hand the moderator should delete it, I have posted as much if not more useless information than anyone so who am I to start a thread like this, I should have shot a personal PM to those guys if I had a hair up my rear about something. Then if they continued just ignore it.

madmaxx - I was afraid this might happen when you gave up testing oil filters and went back to your old hobby. You could change the title to thread and we could all delete our posts....it would be like it never happened.

You can’t write about the man love that exists between these two and not include their mutual propensity to continually disgorge FE-cal matter. “FE’s are the greatest, most powerful, most reliable, most cost effective engine ever!!”

This site used to be a nice an useful place to get salient information. Since these guys showed-up, I almost have stopped checking-in because now you have to wade through pages of their crap to follow what the poster and people with relevant comments have to say. I am not laughing and this post is not intended to be all in good fun. Most of what they say is a useless regurgitation of something they heard from some "expert" who has no business providing advice in the first place. Please stop or go to, and remain in the lounge, where mindless drivel and social banter is expected.

It still is, I don't have a problem with the chit chat here and there. You could use a search engine to pin point the exact data you might require. That is, if you don't want to wade through the pages of crap (as some may call it). If thats all you want out of Club Cobra. For many others, like myself, I've been around here a long time, it's nice just to visit on occasion. No different than hanging out at any other Club, different subjects turn up, things get thrown about, it's a party!

Actually, this site is what it always has been...a place to share and learn, and...what many seem to forget...a place to have fun.
Well before there were Paddy and Rod, there lurked Crankoids and Gasholes, and Evan and...well...everyone else, and Shelby and...well...everyone else. And yes, just like every other site on the net, threads get hijacked from time to time.
We try to keep a lid on the mfg and other dedicated forums...in a measured amount...because half of you will b!tch about us being censors and the other half will b!tch about needing to keep the place strictly within the limits of whatever that particular individual thinks the limits ought to be.
This site is what each user makes it. If you come in here wanting a strict agenda of discussions, that ain't gonna happen. If you come in here wanting it to be a free-for-all, that ain't gonna happen either.
Personally, I like to see some fun in the threads, but not to the point of it destroying the discussion. Thread starters owe a bit of an obligation as well...don't just post something and leave, or the discussion will indeed dry up and n'er-do-wells will fill the vacuum.
Thread's closed per the threadstarter's request. Paddy and Rod, me thinks y'all get the point.
