Thumbs up Join SAAC before 12/31...and catch a deal.

Are you a SAAC Member?

The Shelby American Automobile Club was born in 1975 and was dedicated to the preservation, care, history and enjoyment of the cars Carroll Shelby created. Those goals have not changed over the decades. Ownership isn’t required for membership - just interest in and enthusiasm for these legendary cars.

SAAC has more than 4,000 members across the US, in Canada, and in just about every other country where there is interest in high performance automobiles. SAAC has active regions in almost every state which hold events of their own. And every summer the club holds a blow-out of a national convention. A typical convention will include a real vintage race, open track high-speed running, parts swap, judged concours and popular vote car shows, and guest speakers made up of drivers, mechanics and
fabricators who made the Cobra, GT40, GT350, and GT500 household words. SAAC is currently planning their 36th annual event, to be held at Virginia International Raceway over Memorial Day weekend, 2011. As a SAAC member, you will get discounts on daily admission to the Convention.

Members and friends can visit the SAAC Forum where over 3000 users discuss all aspects of the Vintage Cobra and Shelby Mustang cars.

SAAC publishes the definitive books of record, the World Registry of Cobra and GT40s, as well as volumes for the 1965-1970 GT350 and GT500.

SAAC members will have access to our online Member’s Only website, Memberlodge, where one will find 4 issues a year of the award-winning enthusiast magazine, The Shelby American. The magazine is published on-line, with typically 70 - 90 pages per issue of fascinating articles.

...plus every member gets this extra benefit: At year end, all four quarterly issues are compiled into a printed Annual edition and every member gets a copy as part of their membership. The 2009 Annual was over 360 pages, and has been sold separately as a back issue for $25.00

Never seen an issue?

SAAC has decided to give "free samples" to let prospective members take a look at this fine publication.

The Summer 2010 issue is available for public viewing or full download for off-line reading.

All four of the 2010 issues will be combined in the 2010 Annual, set for printing and mailing to all members in January 2011. It will also be available for sale at $25.00.

Interested? Well, here's a deal for you...

(don't tell anyone I figured this out...)

If you join SAAC before 12/31, you will receive your New Member packet, which includes the current 2009 Annual, worth $25.00. Then, as a member in good standing come January, you will receive the new 2010 Annual, also worth $25.00.

Both books...and a full year's Membership for $50.00...the price of the books alone! What a bonus deal!

Download and print (click on the image) this simple Membership form and begin your membership in one of the best enthusiast clubs out there, the Shelby American Automobile Club.
...or print and leave it "hanging around the house" as a great Holiday gift hint.

Either way, come join us.

More than 100 viewers took advantage of the "free sample" issue so far; let's hope some of you like what you see and join SAAC before 12/31.

As of today, over 200 people picked up the free sample magazine.

Just 2 weeks left to score the TWO annuals by joining SAAC.

Just TWO days left to get both books for an annual membership.

I have it on good authority that the 2010 Annual is being prepped for the printer as we speak....and I hear it will be even better than the last one.

Here's a peek at the Fall 2010 contents...

...snooze and lose.
