And you thought Mr. Levin was done.....Well, maybe he is!
Sorry! Had the wrong link:
http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/upda...in-169720.html
Read this one- CMC/Levin: 0-Hot Rodders 2.....1 to go and Levin MAY actually be out of business permanently!:
http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/2-st...ml#post1322007
Thought I might put some faces to the %$!#%^s=From the HotRodders.com board. If you have the time this is the most interesting reading for car guys! Simply amazing AND long, long past due!

Yeah, I donated a few bucks. I was taken by these guys back in the mid 90's; lost almost $10,000. Bob Kallio at Midstates bought all the CMC pieces I had, or rather exchanged them for a discount on his car. Midstates was a class act and I'm proud to own one. CMC or whoever they are now needs to just go away and stop screwing hard working people out of their hard earned money.

I suppose it was inevitable dealing with people like they were for so many years.Sad that so many of us learned the hard way.No matter, my car is everything I have ever wanted and then some.Too much time, blood sweat and tears invested,to let anything take away the great feeling I have everytime I look at that car and especially driving it.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people, may they all get what they deserve for screwing over soo many people for soo long........
They almost cost me my job back in the mid to late 80's before the internet and sites like this one.......Kit car magazines were saying how good they were and all and I called and asked for and got an info packet, then the hard sell and finally they threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't buy one of their kits, saying in Florida they had an oral contract with me to buy a kit and could enforce it in a court of law, I told them to go ahead and I'd see them in court, it never happened but soured me on kit Cobras for many years afterwards.................

I was, sort of, one of the lucky ones that received "ALL" of my parts to complete my car, but not without headaches.........
I made a donation.........and, as stated in Bill's post......looks like a "LOT of STUFF" is missing from those pictures......wonder if some of the "STUFF" is stashed somewhere?? Hopefully, not for a "COMEBACK" of the "SAME OLD PLAYERS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t see a lot of stuff associated with a kit car business but he seemed to corner the market on fans.
