I'm in the process of buying an extra set of aluminum wheels. Once I get them powdercoated, probably a bright gold, then I'll get a set of BB's and mount them up.
Well, I thought about powdercoating them white, but then I would have to change the color of my sidepipes to white too. Well, I don't have the wheels yet.

Are you serious? Not that the list means much.
We've become such cynical jackasses that I don't even know when I'm making a joke.
Maybe I should just clean up those dusty mags I have in the garage.
If you must coat, ask the coater for a magnesium finish. I've seen iridescent finishes which have subtle gray/green/gold blends, like a Canton pan.
An idea I like better is to consider chroming them which goes perfectly with your chrome bodywork. Chrome, with all the letters removed from the BB's will look serious. Of course, all of these will add pounds to your garage floor.

If you're going to do that, then I insist that you embed a diamond in your central incisor.
Though I am serious about buying an extra set of aluminum wheels to screw around with, but they would be a dark gray or black to simulate unpolished magnesium like a photo here on CC of CSX4323.
When the entire US economy returns to normal sustained growth with increasing housing prices, then you might see a mag wheel production run from someone. I don't think either will happen for years.
There appears to be only a handful of interested parties.
