While you're being an anus, what you gonna do when the humidity hits 60 for two straight days and they look like you pulled them out of a box that was at the bottom of the Pacific?
On a slightly more serious note-I'm amazed at the dedication, patience, good humor and diligence of Rodneym.
He really wants these and is trying to facilitate the purchase for others too. I thank you on behalf of any dolts who have not.
Rodney also gets the All Saints Award for putting up with our Village Idiot who has added at least 20 useless posts to this thread (launched him way over 12,000) because he ain't buyin' any and has officially been ejected from the Harry Potter Forum.

ERA Chas,
Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
I figure that any response will give this effort energy and help bump it to the top of the threads.
I was told that big blocks aren't as reliable as small blocks
Goodyear BB's throw too many stones
Aluminum isn't as durable as fiberglass
And magnesium is a PITA to maintain
Bring it on! I'm having fun

Chas, you're not going to scare me. I looked at a set of new Halibrand Cobra wheels that were still new in box, eight years sitting on a shelf in a warehouse not too far from here, and they looked pristine, gorgeous, beautiful. Of course, they were from the last production run in the early 2000's.
Aluminum has to be polished too. And if they do turn, I'll throw them away and buy another set.

Why wait, Rodknock. Can I put you down for 2 sets?

Lew,
In looking at some old Mag threads, I see that you've been down this road a couple times before. Thank you. Hopefully we can get it done this time. I'm gonna keep chipping away until Halibrand says yes or files a restraining order against me
And I also found some strays from the old list:
Full Throttle Al - You still in? Where are you?
Rokndad - Selling his badazz CSX and bought a nice Vette, I heard. I guess you're out.
Anyone else?

Say what? He is? I knew he was thinking about it, but he actually pulled the trigger?
I can't compete with Chas and Patrick, they be too edge-a-ma-kated for me.

Let's leave it at one set for now with "first right of refusal" on a 2nd set.
BTW, I'm still skeptical. You guys are smoking the good stuff (legal herb only, of course) if you think they'll be made by the Spring 2011. I hope they do, but I'm dubious.
