Default It's Back..........................

If any of you missed the old Cobra and old guys mauling the muscle cars
I just heard from the Optima people that it will be on again as follows:

The OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational will air on the SPEED Channel:

· Sunday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. ET

· Monday, Dec. 20 at 8 a.m. ET

· Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. ET

· Thursday, Dec. 30 at 2 a.m. ET

I sure hope they don't air the 2010 show this much because the entire automotive world will see me getting my a$$ kicked multiple times.

There was a very detailed post on this subject about a year ago that I could not find with search. I described the suspension, brakes, wheels, frame, transmission, rear end and engine modifications in that post. I think it was titled 40 year old Cobra wins Optima or something like that. If you can find it you will get a very detailed description of the changes. Thanks for asking.

Caught it and loved it.Course it was more car than a lot of us own,but a fair competition given the cars it was matched against.
