Thumbs up Hurricane Hitting West Virginia Shortly

In early November I traveled to Lake City, Iowa to Hurricane's facilities and met with Steve Sinnard. Later in November I placed an order and mailed in a deposit. At some point, Steve gave me a "ready date" of December 15th. So I realistically expected it to be ready by the end of the year or so. I didn't didn't push it because I wanted to see what would happen on the
15th. Well, "on the 15th" I received an email from Steve that said "your car is ready to be picked up." Quite frankly I was surprised that it was ready on the projected date (as most things in life are not). But I shouldn't have been surprised because Steve has done everything he said he would when he said he would. So here is a public "THANK YOU TO STEVE SINNARD AND EVERYONE AT HURRICANE".

Now I just need to get it home. Hopefully, the shipping company will have it in here within a week.

Congrats!

You are agoing to be thrilled with the car. If you have any questions, just send me a note.

What options did you get? What color are you going to paint it? What engine? Fill us in on your plans.

Dean, as you can see, I took your advice and went with the Hurricane. The engine is an all aluminum 427 fe. It is being assembled now. The builder has the short block together. Last I heard he was waiting on the heads. I really like blue but there are sooo many blue ones. I will probably go with black. I am sure you will agree with me on black.... The question is what color stripes. I appreciate the time you took to answer my questions a couple months ago. I will probably be sending you many notes! The main options were the upgrade brake package, carpet, limited slip rear (410 gears), powder coated frame, chrome roll bar, ceramic coated side pipes and headers (sliver), wind wings, sun visor, wipers and aluminum firewall.

Westva, welcome to the HM family! If you haven't done so already, get signed onto the HM owners forum. Steve can set you up with a login, etc. You'll find a very friendly and helpful owners group. Glad to have you aboard.

Regards, Sam

Welcome to the family. If there is anything we can do to assist you during the build, just ask.
