Default As crazy as me

Well, it sounds like I am in good company. I figured there were some others that braved the cold weather to drive one of these incredible machines.

I should have had my wife bring the camera and take pictures of the faces on passers by. Most guys had a look as if to say, "wow, that's cool and I understand". Most gals had a look as if to say, "wow, what an idiot and he must beat her".

I truely feel like one of the gang now. I have successfully passed the first test. I hope they are all this easy.

Many memorable trips...

Running in the cold heavy rain from Sacramento to Redding for Kool April Nites and back again...stopping under overpasses so Turk could light a smoke.

Running over Mt. Rose near Tahoe in the snow...

Running across Death Valley mid-summer...

It's all good.

Default Man you guys make me feel like a big weeny.....

I put my top and side windows on here a few weeks back because I can't stand the cold having grown up in Michigan. I even went so far as to install insulation at the bottom of the side windows to reduce the cold drafts. But the coldest its been on a Saturday morning recently, at around 6:00 a.m., hasn't been much more then the high 50's so I know I don't have any room to complain... Just the same, I love driving my Cobra summer, winter, just about any time I can.

Where is Kellogg? He needs to share a few pictures of his Cobra in the snow where he drives it every day come hell or high water....

Default 50 more miles

I put 50 more miles on the beast yesterday. I am really going to love this in the spring. I got some pics this time and will post soon. Keep the stories of other than fair weather driving coming.

I need to hear from someone that got stuck in the snow or a tornado.

Oh yeah, for the advice about the tires being better suited for warm weather....I got it. I could feel it wanting to get out from under me. Still awesome.

Congradulations! I remember my maiden voyage well.Had overfilled the coolant system,it decided to correct itself at a traffic light. The smoke raised the blood pressure until I lifted the hood and saw what it was.
