Any feedback on Kevko Oil Pans?
Hello all,
I tried searching google and this site, no real luck with reviews of this USA company. I did see a few comments in other forums which stated no complaints.
I have a 351w, stock oil pan, that is pretty well bashed in and the drain plug is leaking. I'm looking at the Canton's, etc however the Kevko at $180 w baffles/gates and scrapper looks like a great deal.
http://www.kevkoracing.com/ford.htm (Part # F102-3)
I want to gain some ground clearence over the stock pan, but this 8" depth is the lowest I've found besides oval track pans which I don't want to use on car that turns right.
So any fitment, leaking issues or anything else on Kevko brand? Any other suggestions besides Milodon, Moroso, etc?
Thanks,

I looked at Kevko but they were still too deep. I wanted a 7" depth for clearance and I found it with CHAMPS Oil pan: Steel Pans > Ford Wet Sump
STYLE: CP351LT-RR
It is a rear sump pan with a scraper welded in , a windage tray and a nice rear sump with trap doors. I had to cut the pick up opening a little wider. If you go into my username and under Lou's pictures I have some photos of it.

I have a Kevco pan on my 351/408 and I bought it based on another Hurricane owner's recommend. Kevco will build it to your spec as in 7" vs 8" deep. I also wanted it plated vs painted...all you have to do is ask him. I have plenty of ground clearance with the 7" deep pan. Hope this helps.

Thanks Lou!! Might need to save a little while for this pan, but the extra 1" would be well worth it. Perfect..

I use a rear sump Kevco road race pan on a 351W. It holds about 10 qts! Have run it at speed, cornering, braking, etc. with no oil pressure fluctuation noted.
Great price and great product.

I bought a Kevco pan for my 351 stroker motor. Told him I was looking for a drag race/road race oil pan that didn't hang down too far. He put together an eight quart, kicked out rear sump pan with four trap doors, scraper and windage tray that is seven inches deep. Looks good, fits good and the price was very reasonable.

I have a Canton, but dislike the corrosion on the finish.
